I was surprised to see this nice buck pictured in the video below. This buck passed in front of my Scoutguard SG550 this morning. This makes the second buck I've seen in the last week that still hasn't dropped its rack yet. I'm happy to see that this buck made it through the late bow season. He should be a pretty respectable buck when the bow season opens this fall. I would think he should be dropping his rack any day now. Looks like I'll be doing some shed hunting this weekend. In my neck of the woods, they have typically all dropped by now. Maybe this little guy is just a slow starter. Or, this may explain why I have come up empty handed each time I've gone out shed hunting this year. Maybe I'll try again this weekend.
