If you haven't heard of Spypoint game cameras yet, then you probably will soon. Spypoint is made by a Canadian company and have been continuing to gain popularity with hunters and game camera enthusiasts. They are creating some really unique trail cams, like the Spypoint Tiny-HD pictured to the left.
The Tiny-HD has an appropriate name. It is tiny, measuring only 4.5 inches x 3.5 inches x 2.7 inches. I love these small game cameras, because they are so easy to conceal in the woods. They don't stand out like some larger trail cameras, and the camo pattern helps it to blend into the surroundings.
The Tiny-HD has it all, and includes a 2.4 inch built in viewing screen. You can check your camera's images without bringing a memory card home. It can take pictures and videos and store them on an SD/SDHC memory card of up to 32 GB in size.
You have the ability to shoot videos in high definition 720p mode. The videos can be from 10 to 90 seconds. You also get 8.0 megapixel color photos during the daytime and black and white photos at night via the infrared LEDs. This trail camera has 38 LEDs for great clarity and definition. A multishot mode allows you to take up to 6 consecutive pictures each time the sensor is triggered. The photos will have the date, temperature, time, and the moon phase printed on each image.
The detection range can be adjusted to trigger the camera at distances from 5 to 50 feet. There are 3 sensors that cover 7 detection zones giving you fast trigger speed and excellent distance detection. You even have the ability to adjust the time of operation with this camera.
Powered by 6 AA alkaline batteries, you can expect good battery life. There is even an optional lithium rechargeable battery pack that can be used with this camera, and a solar panel that can be used to maintain the charge for long term operation in the field.
